Tropical Delight

This smoothie incorporates young spinach leaves, producing a very mild mix with no hint of bitter greens.

I used juice from 2 oranges, 1 cup of filtered water, 1 frozen banana, 1 fresh banana, approximately 1/4 of a fresh pineapple and once that was completely blended, added two big handfuls of spinach leaves.
Blend away and start your day! Delicious.

Joyce, thank you for your lovely message! I'm glad to be back and in contact with all my fellow food bloggers again!
This sounds like a fantastic smoothy and a great way to use up those half bags of greens you get tucked away in the fridge. And you really can't taste the spinach? That's your five a day almost right there in a drink!

Yum!!! Are you going to do The Green Smoothie Queen 3-Day Challenge with the rest of us Raw Divas??? http://www.therawdivas.com/greensmoothiequeen
Yes, I'm excited about the Big Green Challenge. Thanks for asking. I signed up this morning when I ordered my big green jug!
Looking forward to it after a holiday weekend spent indulging in cooked favorites with my family. The upside? We were all together on a holiday for the first time in over 10 years! Though a lot of it was cooked, it was all organic whole foods, made from scratch with loving hands AND we started each day with a big green smoothie!
Back to the routine now.
